Each one happens exactly when you set it: the simulator doesn't read skills or cooldowns.
Add what moves turns in your fight: a teammate's Action Gauge Up, an Extra Turn, a Toughness Break, Cheat Matrix.
How turn order works
- Every unit fills an Action Gauge at a rate set by its SPD; the first to reach 100% takes the next turn and starts again from 0.
- There are no rounds: a fast unit can act twice before a slow one acts once.
- Everyone starts at 0, so the opening order is simply SPD order: 90 SPD against 100 opens at 90% of a bar.
- On equal Action Gauge, higher SPD goes first. Only equal Action Gauge AND equal SPD is a coin flip, settled by a hidden roll made once per battle.
- A revived unit starts from an empty Action Gauge and rolls a new hidden tiebreak.
- Each team's leader gets +10 SPD, added after percentage boosts: 100 + leader + SPD Up = 130, not 132. Both Gauntlet leaders get it, so +10 alone guarantees turn 1 only against 194 SPD or less.
- SPD percentages add together: SPD Up + Cheat Matrix = +30%; Rampage: Spacetime +30% with SPD Down −20% = +10% (180 → 198).
- SPD Up, SPD Down and Cheat Matrix come from skills used during the fight, so they can't change who takes turn 1.
- Action Gauge Up is a flat share of a full bar and ignores SPD. Past 100% the unit takes the next turn, and nobody else's gauge moves until it acts. Action Gauge Down can be resisted and stops at empty. Slowing a unit never moves its gauge back.
- Some Cosmo Gate bosses start with a full Action Gauge from a passive, so they always take turn 1; the boss card shows it.
- In Ranked and Strategy Gauntlet every unit's SPD gets a random ±2.5% for the very first turn only. A guaranteed first move needs about 5.13% more SPD than their fastest unit, not 10%, and no fixed number like 260 guarantees it.
- The 50-turn limit counts turns taken by anyone, the boss and Extra Turns included. Counterattacks, Dual Attacks and other reactions don't use a turn.
Not simulated
- Damage, HP and defeats
- Damage over time
- Which unit an enemy targets
- Effect Hit and Effect RES chances: Action Gauge Down and SPD Down are assumed to land
- Saviors' and the boss's own turn effects, unless you add them
- Story, events and Endless Corridor aren't covered yet: we haven't confirmed how enemies start there.
Assumptions in this answer (1)
