Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

This policy is maintained in English. It applies to every language version of the site.

ESPR.gg (“the site”, “we”) is an unofficial, fan-made guide for the game Star Savior. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Studio B-Side. The site has no user accounts and no login — you can browse everything without identifying yourself. This page explains the limited data the site handles and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We do not ask you for any personal information, and there is nothing to sign up for. We do not collect names, email addresses, or account details from visitors. The only data involved is the anonymous, aggregate usage measurement and the browser-local storage described below.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. It is cookieless and privacy-focused: it records aggregate page views and derives coarse, non-identifying signals (such as approximate country, device type, browser, and the referring page) from each request. It does not set tracking cookies, does not store your IP address, does not build a profile of you, and does not track you across other websites. See Vercel’s analytics privacy documentation for details.

Data stored in your browser

Some site features save your inputs and preferences in your browser’s local storage (under keys prefixed espr:) — for example, the values you enter into the stat & damage calculator, your skill-level selections, and your last-viewed leaderboard tab. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and you can clear it at any time by clearing the site’s data in your browser.

The screenshot “scan” feature (which reads stat values from an image) runs entirely in your browser using on-device text recognition. Images you select for scanning are processed locally and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Leaderboard data

The leaderboard pages display the game’s public competitive rankings, sourced from the game’s own in-game ladders and raid boards. For the current top-ranked players, an entry may include the player’s in-game display name, guild, country, title, profile icon and frame, account level, rating/score, and team compositions, together with each shown character’s build details (such as level, gear, potentials, and skill and journey progression) and stat totals derived from them. The profile icon and frame are the cosmetics the game itself shows on a player’s public profile card; we display the same ones. Where a player placed on the podium of a past season’s board, we may also show those season honors. We remove the game’s internal numeric player id before any data reaches your browser, and we do not send your browser account details that the game itself does not surface when viewing another player.

Leaderboard pages are excluded from search-engine indexing, so player names are not made searchable through us. If you appear on the leaderboard and would like your entry removed or anonymized, contact us using the email below and we will do so.

Cookies

The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics is cookieless, and the only local data we use is the browser storage described above.

Third-party services

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes requests to serve the pages and provides the analytics described above. Standard server logs may be handled by our host for security and reliability. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

Your choices and rights

Because we don’t hold accounts or personal profiles, there is little visitor data to access or delete. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data that relates to you — including a leaderboard entry. To make a request, email us at espr.privacy@gmail.com. We’ll respond and act on reasonable requests.

Children’s privacy

The site is a general-audience game guide and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
